This link takes you to the BMAA online forums on their own web-site. These forums are more graphically rich and useable then Yahoo, but do NOT allow email subscription - well, actually they do - but you will just receive mails to tell you there has been a new posting on a thread you have subscribed to, with a link you can click to visit the online forum. This forum is official, but attracts orders of magnitude less traffic then the one hosted by Yahoo (below), and has a far lower membership. There is currently no mederation on any forums on this site, but that may change if it becomes more popular. Yahoo Microlights discussion group The link above will take you to the Yahoo eGroup that has been the official BMAA forum for several years. With a membership in the thousands, this lively discussion group is open to all. It does not have a 'posh' web interface, but does support subscription by email, so discussions are delivered to your inbox, either singly or in digest form, and you can reply to any thread or even start a new thread by email. No advertising or obscenity is tolerated in this forum. Microlight-Lite discussion group This link, also hosted by Yahoo, is for those who prefer a lighter style of chat and banter, with less restriction on tone or content. Note this group is not an official BMAA group. Also note you have to apply to the group owner for membership, and he reservres the right to refuse anyone he wishes.....not that he's likely to! Why not try them all and see which you prefer? |
